If you are up for a longer walk, then proceed further along the Mar Menor promenade. The walk eventually takes you to a second windmill (Molinos). Follow the path along and eventually it leads you to virtually secluded perfect beach.
On a calm day the waters of the med can be crystal clear.
This is the proper Mediterranean Sea so caution should be taken when swimming
