Kings Day parade – 5th Jan
In Spain children get their presents from the THREE KINGS, on the night of 3 Kings Day Eve.
Locally there is a big parade on THREE KINGS EVE , where kids watching are treated to free gifts and sweets
The Three Kings will arrive by boat onto Lo Pagan and proceed to parade up to San Pedro town centre

Feast of San Blas – 3rd Feb
Procession celebrating the local patron saint San Blas.
Procession goes from church in Santiago De La Ribera, with local band and people following the statue as its carried to its final destination in church in San Blas about 2km away.
There is a giant community PAELLA, which is shared among the people who have joined the procession afterwards in San Blas
There are also amusement rides and food stalls in San Blas park

Easter Processions – Easter Week before Easter Sunday ( Sun March 24th to Sun March 31st 2024)
Processions start Palm Sunday 24th March with PALM procession to Lo Pagan church
Holy Tuesday 26th – procession around San Pedro Town centre
Holy Thursday 28th – procession around streets Santiago De La Ribera
Hold Saturday 29th – Huge procession in San Pedro centre
On that night 3 separate groups of participants converge on San Pedro from 3 different locations
They merge just south of the town centre for a solemn ceremony.
The darkness and athmosphere of being encircled solely by the sound of beating drums is amazing.

Easter Sunday, In the morning 10am the final processions take place. At the main cross roads in San Pedro, particpants arrive from 4 directions. (the junction of the N332 and RM-F25). Culminating in the 4 icons that have been carried meeting . There are some songs, a prayer, fireworks and numerous white doves are released.
